About Our Milky Way Galaxy Guru Yogiraj Vethanthri Maharishi

Maharishi was born in the year 1911 in a weaver's family of Guduvancheri, a small village near Chennai(Madras). He toiled at the loom early morning to late night without the barest necessities of life, he has stopped schooling with III class and he himself educated upto the level of 9th class. He joined the Postal Audit Office at Chennai for a monthly salary of Rs.15/= and did part-time work of selling milk and tooth-paste.

Maharishi had come accross and learned from 3 (three) GURUS
1) Sri.Balakrishna Naicker              2) Dr.Krishna Rao               3) Sri. Paran-chothi Mahan.

Maharishi had became a qualified physician in three systems of Medicine namely--AYURVEDH A, SIDDHA, HOMEOPATHY. After 35 years of service, he resigned from the Government job and went back to weaving trade and became rich but all of a sudden the business crashed and the entire family ruined and lived with a small income of selling rice-pudding with the help of her beloved wifes.

From childhood, he wants to know for three questions - "WHO IS GOD? - "WHAT IS LIFE? - "WHY SHOULD THERE BE POVERTY IN THE WORLD? At the age of 35, Maharishi obtained the answers through research and cogitation and meditation. Maharishi had founded the WORLD COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTRE in the year 1958 and it has Branches all over INDIA, USA, JAPAN, KOREA AND IN MALASIA. He had not relingushed family and world but rationalised his relationship with all . At the age of 72 he founded the WORLD PEACE TRUST - TO PREACH - PEACE - CONSCIOUSNESS all over the World and Universe. He preaches Simple phisical exercises, Simplified Kundalini Yoga and Introspection - If a man follows all these 3 surely he will become a perfect human being in all respects.
